Since 1991, Special Children Inc, a licensed Wisconsin adoption agency and non-profit charitable organization, has helped over 1100 children find forever families in Wisconsin through programs in international adoption, domestic adoption, step-parent adoption, relative adoption, and through waiting children’s programs. The majority of children were adopted as healthy infants. We remain a “grass roots” agency with a professional staff of experienced adoptive parents and an adult adoptee, striving to bring quality and affordable services to families. We are an exempt and supervised provider of Hague adoptions and abide by the membership standards of practice of the Joint Council on International Children’s Services.
